Europe is focussed on making robots that work for the benefit of society. This requires empowering future roboticists and users of all ages and backgrounds. In its 9th edition, the European Robotics Week (#ERW2019) is expected to host more than 1000 events across Europe. Over the years, and over 5,000 events, the organisers have learned a thing or two about reaching the public, and ultimately making the robots people want. For many, robots are only seen in the media or science fiction.

VEX Worlds 2019 is a robotics competition that was run between the 24th and 27th of October 2019. It was held at the Kentucky Exposition Center, 937 Phillips Lane, Louisville in Kentucky. The VEX IQ Challenge is a fun competition presented by the Robotics Education and Competition Foundation.

While the group was staying at a Wyndham Hotel in the city, police say, the teen entered the swimming pool and drowned Monday, with hotel staff jumping into the water to try to save the child, pulling him from the water and attempting CPR.

The Ontario-based Build a Dream Amazon Warriors were among the thousands of young people from nearly four-dozen countries competing recently for the biggest prize at the FIRST Championship in Detroit. The team members bill themselves as Canada's only all-female high school robotics team mentored and advised by women.
